Everyone who likes their Chinese food in Galway is familiar with The Royal Villa Chinese restaurant which has been in business since 1990 and gained a reputation as the best Chinese in Galway. Over the last 18 years Charlie has provided an exceptional dining experience and has pushed out the boundaries for the standard for Chinese cuisine. Their first premises was located in Shop Street and was adored by many locals and tourists. When the Shop St branch closed in June 2006 they opened soon after in Oranmore under the name Asian Fusion. Winner of Bridgestone Awards since 1996, their new premises is located above the Aquarium in Salthill. It features a contemporary decor and stunning views of Galway Bay. Back by popular demand Charlie Chan is serving the original menu with new additions, such as Steamed Sea Bass and Prawns Duo, that have gained their place in many Galwegians hearts. He looks forward to seeing new and old faces at the Salthill premises and is delighted with the support so far.
